Devil’s Angel - Jedd O’Keeffe
Dark Angel X Rocking The Boat
Grey Gelding
Devils Angel returned from a break at Newcastle with a fine effort finishing 3rd. He duly followed this up with a win at Newcastle on (5/3/21) given an excellent ride from Megan Nicholls.
17/3/21 Devils followed up his last time out win with another back at his beloved Newcastle under another excellent ride from Megan Nicholls who gets a great tune out of him.
2/4/21 Another fine effort from Devils in defeat at Newcastle. Only being beaten half a length by a well handicapped horse who got first run. He’ll have a short break before heading to Ascot at the start of May.
12/6/21 His first run back after a break at York and a solid effort finishing 7th in a sizeable handicap. No doubt he will come forward for that effort.
26/6/21 Doncaster was a disaster and he lost the race before leaving the paddock. A definite line through this effort.
17/7/21 We headed to Newmarket to get a feel as to how he’d handle the course with intentions to run in the Greys race. He duly obliged by winning! An excellent ride from Callum Shepherd.
14/8/21 Returning for the Greys race he missed the start and pitched wide he probably raced on the wrong side despite finishing fifth he was beaten less then 2 lengths and this was another solid effort.
21/8/21 We have long wanted to try him over a stiff 5f and so we headed to Sandown. Oisin Murphy took over and gave him an absolute peach, travelling strongly throughout he won comfortably.
This takes him to 4 wins on the year.
4/9/21 Heading to Ascot was a punt to try and get him in the Portland next week. Having only had two weeks since Sandown. He looked flat throughout and he’ll now have a break.
10/2/22 Devil’s Angel made a pleasing return from a break finishing third at Newcastle. He’s come back in looking stronger and we will play a similar route as last year. He will head to Doncaster next.
7/8/22 Devil’s Angel wins the 30k Sunday Series Sprint at Haydock under an excellent ride from Callum Shepherd, the race was ran to suit and he’s loved coming through horses. He’ll head to Sandown for the final next.
Devil’s ran a huge race in the final only beaten a length in 5th, having missed the kick completely.
Drawn wrong side in the Ayr Silver Cup, he ran respectably again at Newcastle having been short of room. Currently on his winter break.
